Therefore, if you want to buy an MI Card and top it up with the exact amount for the bus ride to CDMX, you’ll pay MXN45 ($2.30/€2) in total. It’s important to remember that you can buy and recharge your card from the airport’s vending machines. However, the machines don’t give up change. In any case, children younger than 5 travel for free.

Our Tip: Although you can’t travel from Metrobus Line 4 to a subway line for free, you can travel to another Metrobus line in the same direction within two hours of the first ticket validation without any extra charge.

The Metrobus Stops at Benito Juarez Airport

It runs from 09:00 am to 07:00 pm every two hours and takes around 50 minutes to travel from one airport to the other. The ticket for the bus ride is priced at MXN125 ($6.40/€5.60). The points of sale are located in the Lobby of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at MEX airport terminal 1. Kids between 5 and 12 years of age pay half the fare, while younger children travel free of charge. Please note that all minors must be accompanied by a paying adult. Furthermore, you’ll have to display your ID or passport and the receipt of your payment to board the bus.
